The PNP Entrepreneurial Stream is designed for experienced business owners and entrepreneurs who wish to become permanent residents by owning a business and managing it in one province at your choice while residing in the province.

The Business Investor Stream (BIS) allows Manitoba to recruit and nominate qualified business investors and entrepreneurs from around the world who have the intent and ability to start or purchase businesses in Manitoba.

There are two pathways:

The renewed BIS will ensure that all business nominees invest in businesses that create jobs for Manitoba and contribute to the Manitoba economy.

Saskatchewan has a long history of people starting their own businesses. Some choose to buy an existing business and others start new. Through the SINP Entrepreneur Program, you and your family can start, obtain or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in managing it, while residing in Saskatchewan.

If you are a skilled business person, you can apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program – Entrepreneur and Farm Categories.

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEIPNP) was introduced in 2001 through an agreement with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) (now Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)) to better align immigration with the economic development priorities of the Province of Prince Edward Island.

If you are interested in immigrating to Prince Edward Island and would like to invest in and run a business, you may be eligible for a nomination for permanent residency through the Work Permit Stream of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). This stream is for foreign nationals with business ownership or extensive management experience who would like to move to PEI  to start their business, and eventually become a permanent resident.

The New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream is designed for experienced business owners and senior managers who wish to become permanent residents by owning a business in New Brunswick (NB) and managing it, while residing in the Province.

When applying to any of New Brunswick’s immigration streams, you must be Permanent Resident (PR) Ready. In the New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream, it means that you meet all minimum eligibility requirements and selection factors and have all the required documents on hand to prepare and submit a complete and correct application to the Government of New Brunswick and to the Government of Canada. Being PR Ready means more efficient processing, fewer delays and a better experience navigating the New Brunswick and Canadian immigration programs.

This stream is for entrepreneurs from outside of Canada interested in starting a new business or buying an existing business in Ontario.

It gives an entrepreneur (and up to one foreign national business partner) the opportunity to be nominated for permanent residence once their business has been established in Ontario.

If you are nominated, the next step will be to apply to the federal government through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). They make the final decision on who becomes a permanent resident.

To qualify under the Entrepreneur Stream, you must have a viable business that is likely to provide material economic benefit to the economy of Ontario as a whole or to the local Ontario economy where the business will be located. You and one business partner (if applicable) must both meet the eligibility requirements.

If you are invited to submit an application, you must provide supporting documentation to demonstrate you meet the requirements.

Please refer to section 13 of Ontario Regulation 422/17 and the Entrepreneur Stream Application Guide for more details on each requirement.
